Ron van Os, CEO and Founder of Amsterdam Consulting Services (ACS) started in sales with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and has an extensive international background with achievements in Asia-Pacific, Central-Asia, Europe Middle-East and Africa, as well as a strong US domestic background.
Following EDS Mr. van Os spent over 5 years with the American Airlines technology division, Sabre Decision Technologies, which was eventually spun off from American Airlines as a separate entity. One of the hugely successful solutions which came out of this activity was Travelocity.com.
Over the last decade Mr. van Os has been instrumental in launching new businesses, products and markets for small to mid-size private and publicly held companies. In addition he also successfully worked in various turnaround assignments.
Mr. van Os has led multiple organizational functions as a senior executive/officer of the company, including Sales, all facets of Marketing, Business Development, Product Management, Product Development, R&D, Channel Development, Operations, and Sales Management. In addition Mr. van Os has worked with private companies and has experience with managing to tight budgets, understanding the shareholders interests and concerns, and raising additional rounds of financing.
Mr. van Os has excelled at pioneering new strategies for industry first launches to create competitive advantage and also worked extensively at developing turnaround strategies for companies experiencing eroding market share or margin.
